It is finally time for Edgmont residents to tell our elected officials that we support the new public elementary school in Edgmont. Here’s how to make your voice heard:
- Sign our Community Letter of Support for the school. This letter will be read aloud at the upcoming public meeting.
- Attend the May 17th Edgmont Township Planning Commission Meeting at 7PM at Penn State Brandywine. Consider sharing your feedback during the public comment period.
- Write a letter to our Edgmont Township officials stating why you support the school. Templates are available here: Planning Commission Letter / Board of Supervisors Letter. Letters can be emailed to Township Manager Neil Vaughn at manager@edgmont.org.
Here are a few other school-related updates:
- See the RTMSD Superintendent’s recent letter to the community detailing the current status of the school project.
- Read Annie’s thoughts on Why the Elementary School is a Win for Edgmont Township.
- Read the full Land Development Application submission. (Scroll to the very bottom of the page for the download links.)
Please feel free to share this information with your neighbors. We hope to have a good turnout on May 17th!
