A late afternoon hike with Natural Lands.
Thursday June 9th at 5:30PM

The Hike
Please join Connect Edgmont as we head to Marple Township for a late afternoon hike at Natural Lands’ beautiful Hildacy Preserve. We’ll be joined by Hildacy’s Preserve Manager, Mike Coll. Mike will give us a tour that highlights the wildlife and ongoing restoration work at Hildacy.
Hildacy Preserve is home to the headquarters of Natural Lands, a non-profit organization that saves open space, cares for nature, and connects people to the outdoors in eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Natural Lands has been around since the early 1950s and today nearly five million people live within five miles of lands under NL’s permanent protection.
This hike is approximately 2.1 miles long. We’ll hike on dirt trails and mowed grass paths. Sturdy walking shoes and binoculars for bird-watching are recommended. Children and leashed dogs are welcome.
