Connect Edgmont is hiking with Willistown Conservation Trust!
Saturday May 14th at 9AM

The Hike
Please join Connect Edgmont in neighboring Willistown Township for a hike in Rushton Woods Preserve. We’ll be joined by a representative from Willistown Conservation Trust, a private land trust organization that has successfully preserved more than 7,500 acres in our area.
This hike is approximately 2.4 miles long. We’ll hike on single-track dirt trails and mowed grass paths. Please be prepared for rocks, ruts, gradual hills and the occasional muddy spot. Hiking boots are recommended. Please note that **DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED** on this hike.
Rushton Woods Preserve is home to Willistown Conservation Trust’s Community Farm Program, the Rushton Woods Bird Banding Station, the Rushton Conservation Center, and public walking trails that connect to a broader network of trails in Willistown.
Participants in our May 14th hike will have the opportunity to go inside the beautiful Rushton Conservation Center (RCC) at the start of the hike. Opened in 2018, the RCC is home to a variety of Trust programming and events including lectures, sit-down dinners and culinary demonstrations. The Center features a 1,400 sq. ft. great room with sweeping views of Rushton Farm and Preserve.
